On November 6, the Zhenghe Institute seminar on cultivating top-tier applied talents, jointly hosted by Nanjing Tech University and the Osh National University of Kyrgyzstan, was held in Nanjing. As a co-hosting institution, the university attended the event and engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, industry professionals, and experts from several sister universities on China-Central Asia educational cooperation and the future development of the Zhenghe Institute. Deputy Party Committee Secretary Wen Aimin delivered a keynote speech.
At the seminar, Secretary Wen Aimin shared the school's innovative measures and achievements in the training of international transportation talents, such as serving international production capacity cooperation, innovating the education mode of foreign students, and exporting vocational education standards, and introduced the specific cases of the school's support for the the Belt and Road co construction of national skilled personnel training relying on the advantages of transportation characteristics. The conference also held activities such as the establishment of the Central Asia Renewable Energy Development Research Center and the launch of the Chinese+Major textbook at Zhenghe College, aiming to deepen education cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan.
The college took this opportunity to further expand the cooperation channels with Central Asian universities and enterprises, and laid a solid foundation for the follow-up Zhenghe College project to promote the internationalization of transportation vocational education and service the talent cultivation of the the Belt and Road.
