On the evening of May 14, 2025, Guo Rongmei, director of the Department of Basic Education (International Cooperation and Exchange Office), and Liu Ningxuan, a counselor, led the freshmen to watch the special program Professional Youth Talk - Jiangsu Chapter broadcast by Xinhua · Academic Power Tiktok in classrooms 405, 407, and 410 of Mingde Building. The theme of the event is The Future of Career, showcasing the characteristics and achievements of Chinese vocational education to international students through the growth stories of vocational education students such as Liu Juntao from our college.
In the program, Liu Juntao, who had won the gold medal in the New Energy Vehicle Technology Competition of the World Vocational College Skills Competition, shared his touching experience of overcoming cultural differences and language barriers with Thai international students during the preparation process and ultimately winning international awards under the theme of Youth Pursuing Dreams, Military Forging Souls, which aroused strong resonance among the international students present.
