On the afternoon of May 16th, 17 students from the 2024 Thai class of the New Energy Vehicle Testing and Maintenance Technology major, organized by the China National Joint Venture and the School of Automotive Engineering, visited and exchanged ideas with Nanjing Automobile Group. They had a close-up experience of China's advanced technology and efficient production processes in the manufacturing of new energy vehicles, and conducted in-depth discussions on multiple cooperation topics. Bian Wei, Minister of Human Resources of Nanqi Group, Xu Jiqing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Wu Wenjuan, Commissioner for New Media, warmly welcomed our faculty and students.
Thai students visited the Nanqi PACK workshop, engine machining workshop, and assembly workshop successively. The intelligent production equipment and precise and efficient automated production line have impressed the students. In the PACK workshop, students have a detailed understanding of the assembly process and technical points of power batteries; In the engine machining workshop, precision machining processes and intelligent detection equipment demonstrate the profound technological accumulation in the manufacturing field of Nanqi Group; In the assembly workshop, the complete assembly process of each car from parts to the whole vehicle allows students to intuitively experience the charm of modern automobile production.
After the visit, the two sides had a lively discussion on the cooperation of international student order classes, aiming to provide Thai students with learning and practical opportunities that are more in line with industry needs through customized talent training models, and to provide international skilled talents for going global new energy vehicle companies. At the same time, creative exchanges were held on how to showcase the advantages of China's new energy vehicles and promote Silk Road culture for the video shooting project of international students' Silk Road e-commerce. Both parties also shared their opinions on the joint training of full-time anchors for automotive marketing new media, hoping to jointly create composite talents with professional automotive knowledge and new media marketing capabilities.
The visit of Thai students to Nanqi Group not only deepened their understanding of China's new energy vehicle industry, but also laid the foundation for cooperation between the school and enterprise in talent cultivation, cultural dissemination, new media marketing and other fields.
