Combined with the new situation and characteristics of current telecom fraud, he introduced in detail the common types of telecom fraud, modus operandi and preventive measures. Officer Wang especially reminded international students to remain vigilant, not to trust strangers' phone calls, SMS or network messages, and not to easily disclose important information such as personal information and bank account passwords. He emphasised that only by raising the awareness of self-prevention can we effectively avoid telecommunication fraud and other unlawful invasions.
Wang Daibi, deputy secretary of the general Party branch of the foundation department, expressed her gratitude to the departments of immigration and customs for their support to the school's work related to the immigration and residence permit processing for international students. She also put forward three requirements to the international students of Class 2024: firstly, she hoped that they could strictly abide by Chinese laws and regulations and school rules and regulations, and be good citizens and students who know and abide by the law; secondly, she hoped that they could cherish this rare opportunity to study, and work hard to learn professional knowledge and improve their practical skills, so as to lay a solid foundation for their future; thirdly, she hoped that they could actively participate in the activities of the college, experience the charm of Chinese culture, and enhance the relationship with China. Thirdly, I hope you can actively participate in the activities of the college, feel the charm of Chinese culture and enhance the friendship with Chinese teachers and students.
The successful holding of this meeting is not only an important measure for our college to strengthen the safety education for international students, but also a powerful guarantee to promote the construction of a harmonious and safe campus.
