In the afternoon of October 23rd, NJITT and Moscow State University of Technology (Stankin) jointly held a “online + offline” Chinese-foreign cooperative education program publicity meeting. Mr. Akram Al Khoury, deputy director of foreign affairs department of Moscow State University of Technical, relevant responsible comrades of school of railway and transportation, office of international cooperation and exchanges, counselors and class teachers of Chinese-foreign cooperative classes, and all the students of Class of 2024 of the program participated in the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Guo Rongmei, director of international cooperation and exchange office.
During the meeting, Mr. Akram Al Khoury, deputy director of the program, gave a detailed and vivid introduction of Stankin of Arts and Crafts, the basic situation of the university, the philosophy of running the university, the characteristics of running the university, the strength of the faculty, an overview of the city of Moscow, the pathway of the students of the program to go to undergraduate school, the brief introduction of the career of studying abroad, and the study life in the campus, etc., and answered questions raised by the students on the curriculum, the cost of study and life, and the environment of the school building. Mr. Akram Al Khoury said that the program will adopt an international teaching mode, focus on the combination of theory and practice, and provide students with high-quality educational resources and broad space for development.
Moscow State University of Technical (Stankin) is a national applied comprehensive university, the only higher education institution in the world that specializes in training high-level design, manufacturing and management technological talents of metal-cutting machine tools and their tools, and ranked the second among the Russian scientific and technological higher education institutions. It is a large-scale teaching, scientific research and production complex, and a regular Russian university with academic qualifications recognized by the Ministry of Education of China. This cooperation with NJITT will further strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between the two schools, and jointly promote the internationalized brand development of mechatronics technology major. The successful holding of the seminar has deepened the understanding of teachers and students about the Sino-foreign cooperative education program, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two schools.
