According to the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Some Holidays in 2024 (State Office of the State Council Mingdian [2023] No. 7), the vacation and rest arrangements for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2024 are notified as follows:
I. Vacation and rest time
Mid-Autumn Festival: September 15 (Sunday) to September 17 (Tuesday), a total of three days of vacation. September 14 (Saturday) work class, students on September 16 (Monday) classes.
National Day: October 1 (Tuesday) to October 7 (Monday) holiday, a total of 7 days. September 29 (Sunday), October 12 (Saturday) to work classes, students were October 4 (Friday), October 7 (Monday) classes.
II. Related Requirements
1. Student work departments and secondary faculties and departments should strengthen the safety education for students and remind them to pay attention to safety during the holidays.
2. The Security Office will take the lead in organizing pre-holiday campus safety inspection, and all kinds of electricity, gas and water sources should be shut down to prevent all kinds of accidents from happening.
3. Academic departments, secondary faculties and departments, logistics industry, library, sports department and other departments should do a good job in the management of students and related security work. Continue to strengthen the management of the school gate and reinforce the emergency duty. All kinds of duty personnel must arrive at work on time, fulfill their duties conscientiously, and implement the first-responsibility system. The person in charge of each secondary unit and the duty officer should keep the communication unimpeded during the holidays, and in case of major emergencies, report them in time and deal with them appropriately according to the regulations, so as to ensure the safety during the holidays.
