At?this?moment,?the?moon?is?shining?on?the?sea,?and?the?ends?of?the?earth?are?together. At 16:00 on September 11, the School of Automotive Engineering and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange jointly organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival Traditional Culture Experience Activity”, in which more than 40 Chinese and foreign students and teachers' representatives gathered in the one-stop student community of Building B, “The Big Vehicle to Carry”, to experience the charm of Mid-Autumn Festival traditional culture. More than 40 students and teachers gathered in Building B “Dachuyizai”, a one-stop student community, to experience the charm of traditional Mid-Autumn Festival culture. The activity was planned and organized by the Original Heart Studio.
The activity was divided into four parts: sharing and exchanging Mid-Autumn cultural customs, making traditional paper lanterns for Mid-Autumn Festival, making Mid-Autumn mooncakes, and reciting Mid-Autumn poems. At the activity site, the exchange and sharing of the origins, allusions, customs and poems of the Mid-Autumn Festival enabled the students to have a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival; the handmade Mid-Autumn paper lanterns and Mid-Autumn mooncakes allowed everyone to experience the Mid-Autumn cultural customs.
Each handmade DIY Mid-Autumn Mooncake was wrapped with the longing for distant relatives; each homemade Mid-Autumn Paper Lantern held the students' good wishes for the Mid-Autumn Reunion; and each classical poem recited contained the deep recognition of the traditional culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival by both Chinese and foreign students. This activity fully exploits the cultural resources of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival to carry out educational and practical activities, enhances the cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign students in school, and further promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
