On September 1, a delegation of 2 members from NJITT has successfully completed the lectures of Thailand Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and returned back.
During the teaching period in Thailand, the two teachers taught two courses of construction of new energy vehicles and basic Chinese respectively to two groups of international students who will go to NJITT in the coming 24th grade and new students of 24th grade majoring in Modern Vehicle Engineering. For the teaching of new energy vehicles, Mr. Liu Yiguan carried out a project-based teaching activity integrating science and reality. In Basic Chinese, Mr. Jiang Long deeply explored the subtle connection between Thai language and Chinese language and emphasized on the learning of basic knowledge of students, which achieved better teaching effect. The teachers' rigorous working attitude and professional teaching quality won the unanimous praise of the Thai teachers and students.
During the teaching period in Thailand, President Uthen Kctmnarn and vice President Pisit Wimontanasit of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, as well as the leaders of the faculty of engineering and the office of international cooperation warmly received the two teachers of the teaching group, President Uthen Kctmnarn warmly welcomed the arrival of the teaching group, highly affirmed the importance of the group in the process of the cooperation between the two universities, and expressed his hope for the deep cooperation between the two universities. In addition to the lectures, the teaching team and the teachers of modern vehicle engineering had many in-depth exchanges on how to promote further cooperation between the two sides and how to build the curriculum system and practical training system together, and the stable and good communication mechanism lays a good foundation for the professional cooperation between the two sides.
The teaching team had the honor to participate in the campus open day series activities of the modern automotive engineering program of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, and gave a lecture on “Current Status and Trends of China's New Energy Vehicle Development” to the teachers and students of the visiting Thai high schools. During the open day, the team teachers discussed the modification plan with Prof. Nopporn's team, proposed improvement ideas for the project, and showed part of the project development process to the teachers of the Thai high school.
When invited to attend the annual meeting of the Scholarship Council of the Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and the Thai Fair Education Foundation, Mr. Liu Yiguan gave a speech entitled “Employment Fields of China's New Energy Vehicles and International Vocational Education”. Mr. Liu Yiguan made a report entitled “Employment Fields of China's New Energy Vehicles and International Vocational Education”, which showed the delegates the employment prospect of new energy vehicle industry, and also introduced the school-enterprise cooperation of the new energy vehicle inspection and maintenance technology program.
The school-enterprise cooperation project between NJITT and RMUTL is an important initiative of the Ministry of Education of China to actively implement the national “One Belt, One Road” initiative. The project provides “NJITT Program” for the RMUTL to cultivate new energy automobile talents with the internationalization standard of new energy automobile profession. The program provides the training of new energy automobile professionals in RMUTL with international standard, and also trains high-quality skilled talents with international vision for China's new energy automobile production capacity going abroad.
This teaching mission in Thailand is the second overseas teaching mission of our school to Thailand, and the successful completion of this teaching mission marks another solid step in the process of the college's continuous strengthening of internationalized education and the construction of transportation higher vocational colleges with international influence.
