In order to further promote international exchanges and cooperation between the college and Thailand and Malaysia, and explore new models and paths for international cooperation in vocational education between schools and enterprises, from June 23rd to 30th, Party Secretary Zhang Yi and a delegation of five went to Thailand and Malaysia for exchange and visit activities.
During the exchange visit to Thailand, the delegation visited Chiang Mai University, Lana Royal Polytechnic University, and Tanyaburi Royal Polytechnic University in Thailand, focusing on the construction of the Ministry of Education's cultural exchange project New Energy Vehicle Testing and Maintenance Technology World School. They held an academic cooperation seminar and the opening ceremony of the new innovation class of World School with Lana, Thailand. The two sides exchanged in-depth opinions on the continuous construction of World School, innovation of international student training mode, optimization of credit recognition mechanism, and deep integration of schools, schools, and enterprises. During the visit to Chiang Mai University and Royal Institute of Technology in Tamar, Chinese and Thai universities conducted in-depth discussions on international talent cultivation, Chinese+vocational skills training, and diversified communication between teachers and students. This visit has laid a solid foundation for the cooperation between Chinese and Thai universities in the cultivation of international talents in transportation and related fields, and jointly opened a new chapter in Sino Thai education cooperation.
Secretary Zhang Yi and his delegation also conducted in-depth research and exchanges with Thai car company ECU, participated in the China Thailand Electric Vehicle Technology Seminar, and had extensive exchanges between schools and enterprises on the technology of Thai car companies, the technological development of China's electric vehicle industry, technical skills training, and deep cooperation between schools and enterprises to jointly cultivate local technical and skilled talents in Thailand.
During the delegation's work in Malaysia, they jointly organized an academic seminar in the field of transportation and automotive with Malaysia's Mara Technological University. The two sides discussed topics such as future innovation and sustainable development of new energy vehicle technology, talent cultivation, curriculum construction, and professional internationalization of new energy vehicles; We have engaged in comprehensive and in-depth dialogue and discussions with universities such as Kuala Lumpur University and Dunkhut Seng University in Malaysia on teacher-student visits, cultural exchanges, and teacher training; I conducted research on the China Malaysia Linhai Industrial Park and felt the spirit of the Chinese nation's reverence for peace and kindness towards neighbors reflected in the landing site of Zheng He's voyages to the West and the Zheng He Cultural Memorial Hall. On behalf of the school, I visited and comforted teachers pursuing doctoral degrees in Malaysia.
This official visit to Thailand and Malaysia has further deepened the exchange and cooperation between the college and educational institutions and enterprises in Southeast Asian countries, built a friendship bridge for cultural exchange and cooperation between China, Thailand, and Malaysia, and assisted in the high-quality development of the college's international education.
