According to the school calendar and overall work arrangements, the summer vacation arrangements and related matters for 2024 are hereby notified as follows:
1、 Summer vacation arrangements
1. Old student: After the end of this semester's final exam, students can leave school. July 8-12, 2024 is the practice week, with a holiday starting from July 13th. They will return to school for registration from August 31st to September 1st in the next semester, and start classes on September 2nd.
2. Freshmen: Register on September 7th, 2024 (Saturday), and start enrollment education (professional knowledge), teaching materials, military training, etc. on September 9th; The specific time of the class will be notified separately.
3. Staff: Holidays from July 15th to August 30th, 2024. From July 8th to 12th, each secondary teaching unit conscientiously organized internal training for summer teachers and practical work in enterprises. In order to ensure the orderly implementation of various tasks such as hosting the final of the 2024 Provincial Vocational College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of the Bank of China Cup during the summer vacation, construction of various training and practical training bases, maintenance and renovation, and promotion of high-quality development, middle-level and above leaders will take a rotating leave arrangement and are generally not allowed to leave Ningbo before July 28th. Teachers and staff will arrange their leave and rotation properly according to the work needs of their respective departments (units). All faculty and staff will start working normally on August 31st.
2、 Related work arrangements
1. Promote the implementation of annual key work. Based on the key points and annual goals and tasks of the school's party and government work in 2024, all units and departments actively plan the work for the second half of the year based on a comprehensive review and summary of the progress of the work in the first half of the year. According to the monthly work points, they prepare well for the start of summer vacation and the new semester, ensuring that the school's reform and development, major decisions, and important deployments are timely, comprehensively, and accurately implemented.
2. Strengthen campus security and stability.
3. Coordinate and ensure good service guarantee. Relevant units and departments should coordinate the work arrangements for summer student retention, campus construction, logistics support, bidding and procurement, enrollment and admission, financial reimbursement, network services, education and teaching, various types of training, social practice, official reception, etc., and effectively do a good job in providing various holiday services and guarantees.
4. Strictly on duty. Please check or download the Cadre Duty Form for College from July to August on the website of the Dean's Office. Relevant departments should arrange personnel to be on duty according to summer work needs and report to the Dean's Office for record keeping. All types of on duty personnel should strengthen their duty discipline, arrive on time, and are not allowed to transfer positions or shifts without authorization. Strengthen campus patrols, maintain campus safety and stability, establish duty records, ensure smooth information flow, and promptly handle urgent and important information and follow relevant reporting procedures.
