From June 30th to July 1st, 21 representatives of Taiwanese teachers and students from Taichung University of Science and Technology, Mingchuan University, and Xuanzang University launched the Enjoy Reading Jinling and Appreciate Transportation cultural exchange activity for college students across the Taiwan Strait.
On June 30th, Taiwanese teachers and students came to Nanjing for a study tour and exchange activity. The students experienced the magnificent Yangtze River and the magnificent Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, and expressed that they only learned about the Yangtze River in textbooks before, but now they have finally seen it up close. During the visit to the Presidential Palace, Confucius Temple, and Laomen East, the architectural style of the Republic of China and traditional handicrafts attracted students to stop and check in.
On July 1st, the Inheriting Culture and Creating the Future with Wisdom exchange and sharing meeting between college students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait kicked off in a friendly and friendly atmosphere. On behalf of the college, Yuan Qian, the Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, welcomed the representatives of teachers and students from Taiwan who have come from afar. She reviewed the cooperation and development between our school and Taiwanese universities, as well as the basic situation of this cultural experience camp. She hopes that this exchange activity can serve as a new starting point to promote exchanges and exchanges between college students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and to promote the continuation and development of friendship. After the sharing meeting, representatives of Taiwanese teachers and students visited the college's track training base and virtual simulation training base, and gave high praise to the campus environment and training conditions.
This cultural exchange event showcases a new style of youth from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait learn and learn from each other, and have gained friendship and growth. The school will also take this event as an opportunity to create the Joyful Reading of Jinling and Understanding Transportation brand for cross-strait university student exchange activities, promote communication and cooperation with Taiwanese universities, and promote the friendly development of cross-strait relations.
