On the morning of April 26th, more than 30 management officials from 24 universities in Guangxi came to China for exchange and visits. Vice Dean Liu Xuefen warmly welcomed the visit of management officials from Guangxi universities studying abroad in China. She introduced the basic situation of the college and its achievements in international education. She stated that universities in Guangxi have their unique geographical advantages and professional characteristics, and have many successful experiences and practices in the education of international students and the output of vocational education programs in China. Yang Xuming, Deputy Secretary General of the Guangxi Association for Study Abroad, expressed gratitude to the college for its warm reception and introduced the management of Guangxi's study abroad in China. He hoped to take this opportunity to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the high-quality development of study abroad education in China. He urged the students to cherish this learning opportunity, strive to improve their own quality, and ensure the successful completion of the training task.
Yuan Qian, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, gave a keynote speech on the exploration and practice of international education in the college. From multiple perspectives such as adhering to the dual efforts of bringing in and going out to serve international production capacity cooperation, innovating the education model for international students in China to cultivate local talents for enterprises overseas, and creating a distinctive international education brand to output vocational education standards and plans, she shared the Study Abroad Education Institute project and foreign-related education work.
After the exchange and discussion, the visiting guests visited the on campus training bases of the School of Automotive Engineering, the School of Road, Bridge and Port Engineering, and the School of Rail Transit in batches. They highly praised the school's unique practices and excellent experience in studying abroad in China, and expressed strong expectations for strengthening linkage and cooperation between universities in Guangxi and our school in the future.
