In order to serve the the Belt and Road Initiative and jointly build the national transportation international talent training, the College, together with the Southeast Asian Minister of Education, organized the Regional Center for Vocational and Technical Education, Brunei Institute of Technical Education, and Brunei Lakshamara Business School to train professional and technical talents in cold chain logistics for Southeast Asia and Central Asia, and train overseas local employees for Brunei's going global Chinese enterprises.
In April, the college held Chinese+cold chain logistics vocational skills training, which was divided into several special topics such as Logistics Technology Application of the Belt and Road Seagoing Enterprises in the Context of Supply Chain Integration, Application of Cold chain Logistics Technology in China's the Belt and Road Seagoing Logistics Enterprises, and more than 300 enterprise employees and college teachers and students from Brunei, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in this series of training.
Ma Yaowen, a teacher from the College of Transportation Management, systematically introduced the integrated innovation of supply chain, the application of cold chain logistics technology in Chinese enterprises going to sea under the background of the the Belt and Road, and the promotion of the integration of industry and education on the application of logistics technology in Chinese enterprises. Related professional knowledge and targeted online skill training and interaction have been designed. The training content is highly professional and practical, and the students have received enthusiastic feedback. In the interactive Q&A session, Mr. Ma also carried out a profound exchange and discussion with students on promoting the development of new quality productivity and jointly creating an integrated supply chain with the production enterprises of the the Belt and Road countries. The students actively asked questions and the atmosphere was active.
This Chinese+Cold Chain Logistics themed training is in line with the beneficial exploration and practice of talent cultivation and enterprise needs in Brunei's local logistics industry. It is also an important measure for our school to deepen the Chinese+Skills training and output high-quality vocational education resources.
