Recently, 7 students from the college who went to Malaysia's Mara Technological University for exchange studies have successfully returned to China. After a semester of in-depth learning and cultural exchange, the exchange students have successfully completed their studies, writing a new chapter for friendly inter school cooperation between the two schools.
During their studies at Mara Technological University, students completed courses such as Public Transport Planning and Operations, Comprehensive Logistics Project Management, Construction Industry Operation Management, Urban Traffic Management, and Special Concrete Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development. They gained a deeper understanding of Malaysia's transportation industry development and technological applications, and had extensive academic exchanges with teachers and students at Mara Technological University, Enhanced mutual understanding and cross-border friendship. The students also participated in a volunteer activity at Kuala Lumpur National Zoo to raise wild animals up close, visited local fig planting and dairy companies to complete social practice, and also participated in the Mara Technological University International Student Association. During their study life at Mara Technological University in Malaysia, they experienced Malaysia's unique educational philosophy and campus culture, broadened their international perspective, innovation ability, and social practice ability.
Since its launch, this exchange program has received high attention and strong support from the college and Mara University of Technology. The two schools have carefully organized and arranged, providing a high-quality learning environment and rich cultural experience for the students participating in the exchange, leaving behind beautiful memories and valuable experiences for them. The Guohe Office and relevant secondary colleges maintain follow-up and contact with exchange students throughout the process, and conduct irregular online exchanges and symposiums to ensure that students can quickly integrate into the new class group, adapt to overseas learning and life, and provide comprehensive services and guarantees for exchange students. The students who participated in the exchange expressed that this was a rare overseas learning experience, which allowed them to have a deeper understanding of Malaysia's multiculturalism and international education philosophy. They will cherish this experience, apply the knowledge and experience they have learned to their future studies and work, and contribute their efforts to the friendly exchanges between China and Malaysia.
