In order to further implement the international education construction task of the college, deepen cooperation and exchanges between the college and Bangladeshi universities, enterprises, etc., cultivate technical and skilled talents in transportation vocational education, and serve Chinese enterprises going global, a delegation of six members from the college visited Bangladesh for vocational education cooperation and exchange from November 24th to 28th. The delegation successively visited Bangladesh DMRC High School, Dhaka University, Canadian University (Bangladesh), SAIC Management and Technology College of Dhaka University, and Bangladesh the Belt and Road Chinese Center, went to the Bangladesh Branch of Jiangsu Communications Engineering Group for field research, and organized six official activities, including exchange and cooperation, cultural exchanges, enterprise visits, Chinese+vocational skills training, and alumni forum.
During the visit, the delegation made a special trip to the Bengal branch of Jiangsu Transportation Engineering Group to conduct on-site research and gain a deeper understanding of the local talent needs of going global enterprises. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on school enterprise cooperation to jointly carry out technical services, technical skills training, project research and development, etc. During this period, the delegation members conducted a special training on Chinese+Vocational Skills for employees of the Mengfang company, visited our outstanding alumni in Mengfang, and exchanged ideas to deepen the emotional connection between alumni and alma mater.
The delegation exchanged in-depth views with Mengfang University on professional construction, student training, teacher-student visits, credit recognition, academic exchange, resource sharing, curriculum construction, vocational skills training, scientific research cooperation, etc., reached cooperation intentions, and signed a memorandum of cooperation. The delegation conducted research on the construction of the Bangladesh Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Center of the college, conducted Chinese language teaching and training lectures, and conducted exchanges and discussions on the establishment of a remote course center, collaborative teaching materials, and other aspects.
The successful completion of this visit to Bangladesh will help the college further build an online and offline cooperation platform for cultural exchange and education cooperation between China and Bangladesh, deepen the friendship between the two peoples, and expand the cooperation areas between our school and Bangladeshi universities, as well as Chinese enterprises in Bangladesh. The school enterprise joint exploration, dissemination, and practice of the South China Exchange program can be replicated and promoted in Bangladesh. In addition, further consolidating the strength of alumni, integrating excellent alumni resources at home and abroad, and forming a joint force to promote the high-quality development of the college.
