On the afternoon of November 9th, the college held a meeting in Conference Room 321 of Hongyi Building to promote the quality certification of higher vocational education for international students coming to China (hereinafter referred to as quality certification). Vice Dean Liu Xuefen of the college attended the promotion meeting, and the main leaders of relevant secondary departments and functional departments participated in this work meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yuan Qian, Director of the National Cooperation Office.
At the promotion meeting, Zhang Yunquan, Deputy Director of the State Cooperation Office, reported on the work and achievements of the previous stage, including the collection of supporting materials for quality certification self-assessment reports and the writing of self-assessment reports; Yuan Qian, Director of the China International Cooperation Office, introduced the main work content and workflow of the quality certification work during the on-site expert review stage, and explained the goals, main indicator system, certification process, and timeline of the quality certification work for higher vocational education for international students in China. The heads of secondary departments and functional departments fully discussed the division of tasks and the problems in quality certification.
Dean Liu affirmed the achievements of quality certification work and provided guidance on how to quickly and efficiently promote the work in the next stage. Firstly, we need to further increase the importance of quality certification work and fully understand the significant significance of quality certification in promoting the internationalization of school education; Secondly, it is necessary to comprehensively review and make full efforts to address the remaining shortcomings in certification work, and establish a proactive work awareness of putting the focus forward; The third is to establish the work goal of promoting construction and reform through evaluation, further promote the construction of international courses and majors, and cultivate talents with international competitiveness.
