On the afternoon of October 30th, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange held an improvement meeting on the self-evaluation of higher vocational education certification for international students coming to China in Room 414 of Mingde Building. Yuan Qian, Director of the China International Cooperation Office, presided over the meeting, and all members of the China International Cooperation Office attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the project leaders of the higher vocational education quality certification work for international students from the school gave a brief introduction to the work, focusing on the self inspection and self improvement of various indicators in the school's Self evaluation Report on Higher Vocational Education Quality Certification for International Students from China since its submission. Discussions and exchanges were held around further enhancing the campus's international atmosphere and enriching cross-cultural exchange activities.
The attendees unanimously believe that certification work is a comprehensive review of our school's international education level, a good opportunity to showcase our school's characteristics and achievements. We must adhere to the principle of promoting construction through evaluation, promoting reform through evaluation, promoting management through evaluation, combining evaluation with construction, and focusing on construction, implement self improvement work, and continuously improve the quality of our school's education for international students in China.
The meeting identified recent rectification tasks for the weak links involved in the self-evaluation report and supporting materials in the early stage, further sorted out rectification tasks such as creating an international atmosphere in the school, building a management system for international student education, managing the assimilation of Chinese and foreign students, and bilingual materials in Chinese and English, and made corresponding work arrangements.
