The Party Committee and Administration of the college attach great importance to international cooperation and exchange. With the correct leadership and strong support of the Provincial Department of Transportation and the Department of Education, they focus on the characteristics of relying on transportation and serving transportation in education, adhere to the two-way development of attracting high-quality overseas resources and serving high-quality production capacity to go global, and build multiple overseas education projects in Thailand, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and other regions; Actively exploring international training models for students, creating international curriculum resources, and outputting advantageous majors and curriculum standards; Carry out a series of Chinese+Vocational Skills training for ASEAN countries to cultivate overseas employees for Chinese enterprises. Improve the enrollment and training mechanism for international students, optimize the construction of international student enrollment websites, and the international student enrollment websites have won the A level in the special evaluation of the construction of international student enrollment websites in Jiangsu universities in China. The five fold cloud model was adopted to innovate the teaching management of international students, ensure the smooth development of international student education under the influence of the COVID-19, and won the title of Advanced Group of Foreign Student Education in Jiangsu Province.
In March of this year, the Provincial Department of Education issued a notice on the comprehensive evaluation of high-quality development of university foreign cooperation and exchange in 2022. After receiving the notice, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office comprehensively summarized the school's foreign cooperation and exchange work in 2022, and participated in the on-site defense on April 12, A comprehensive summary and report were conducted from three aspects: adhering to the dual efforts of 'bringing in and going out', serving international production capacity cooperation; innovating the education mode for international students under the epidemic; cultivating local talents for enterprises overseas; creating international education characteristic brands, and outputting vocational education standards and delivery plans, which received on-site praise. The college will take this assessment as an opportunity to continuously enhance the connotation, quality construction, and characteristic development of international cooperation and exchange.
