The Baochuan Workshop of Zhenghe College of NJITT - JIZPI was officially unveiled and the opening ceremony was completed in December 2022. In the past two months, the two sides have held several project communication and coordination meetings to study the employment needs of local enterprises, deeply cooperated with Shentong International, Western Maritime and other enterprises, connected modern logistics management majors and curriculum settings, jointly explored the cultivation of skilled undergraduate talents, and successfully completed the formulation of talent training programs and the recruitment of 19 Uzbek students.
In the afternoon of February 21, the International Cooperation and Office and the teachers of the Transportation Management Institute jointly held the first class for the foreign students in Uzbekistan. Azizibek, the teacher of the National Institute of Technology in Gizak, led 19 students to participate in the course study.
Teacher Jiang Long, the head teacher, introduced the students to Nanjing Jiaotong University and shared the beautiful campus scenery and perfect infrastructure. Ma Yaowen, a teacher from the School of Transportation Management, introduced the professional courses and specific teaching arrangements of Foreign Trade Document Practice and Modern Logistics Management Basis that were offered this semester. Teacher Li Xiaoye of the School of Transportation Management taught the students the Practice of Foreign Trade Documents. Teacher Li explained the definition, type, role and significance of foreign trade documents in English, which made students feel the richness of the specialty and course content taught by the school teachers, and the course was unanimously praised by the Ukrainian teachers and students.
Sino-Uzbekistan universities and relevant Chinese-funded enterprises have orderly promoted the construction of Zhenghe College · Baochuan Workshop. Through mutual recognition of credits, co-education of teachers, co-construction of courses, co-exploration of scientific research, and resource sharing, they have cultivated international talents in modern logistics management for the purpose of going global for Chinese-funded enterprises and local socio-economic development.
