In the afternoon of September 28, the summary of the students' summer study group in Macao and the founding meeting of the Silk Road College Automobile Class were held at 223 Hongyi Building. Relevant personnel from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the School of Automotive Engineering, all the students from the research group to Macao, and the students from the Silk Road College's transportation management class and automobile class attended the meeting, which was chaired by Zhang Yunquan, the deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
The activity started in the video of students going to Macao for research. The five student representatives of the research group to Macao gave a wonderful speech. The students gave a panoramic display of the details and highlights of their study in Macao, shared the educational ideas and methods of the University of Macao and the City University of Macao, as well as the unique historical and cultural characteristics of Macao and the great initiative of one country, two systems. The students expressed that this was a learning trip and a cultural trip, This Macao study will benefit them greatly in their future life planning and growth.
Yuan Qian, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, summarized the students' research group in Macao and hoped that students would cherish the exchange results, pass on the research results to more students, and at the same time rely on more exchange opportunities to continue to improve themselves. She also introduced the work of the college in improving students' international ability, and encouraged students to make good use of the learning platform of the Silk Road College to become technical and skilled talents with an international perspective, understanding multiple cultures and being able to participate in international affairs.
Wang Qiong, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the College of Automotive Engineering, reviewed the experience and feelings of going to Macao for research, especially the impact of many details in the research process on personal growth, placed hopes on the future students of the Silk Road College's automobile class, emphasized the students' subjective initiative in learning, and hoped that the major would actively communicate, be willing to share, grow together, and apply what they learned.
The Silk Road College also arranged a special lecture on Korean Culture and Education. Teacher Cui from the China Office of Kyeongju University, South Korea, gave students a comprehensive introduction to the Korean language, diet, film and television, and educational features, taught students to learn simple daily Korean dialogue, and gave lectures on students' exchange and learning projects in South Korea. The activity atmosphere was active and the interaction was good.
The students said that through the study of the Silk Road College's international lectures, they have further broadened their international vision, cultivated their international awareness and improved their communication ability.
