On October 21, the College, together with the Cambodian Logistics and Supply Chain Business Association, the representative office of the Lao Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and representatives of relevant logistics enterprises, held a promotion meeting for the Sino Laos Cambodia Logistics and Vocational Education cooperation project. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ma Yaowen of the College of Transport Management, and attended by relevant personnel from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
At the meeting, Chandra, chairman of the Cambodian Logistics and Supply Chain Business Association, shared the main achievements of China Cambodia economic and trade cooperation in the field of services, and Yang Donglun, the chief representative of the Lao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, introduced the vocational education cooperation in the Lancang Mekong countries and related industry education integration projects. Teacher Ma Yaowen introduced the school's achievements and international development, showed the school's achievements in the standard output of Chinese+Logistics Vocational Education, and shared the innovative teaching mode of four-dimensional integration of curriculum certification, competition and innovation in logistics management, which attracted wide attention.
The participants also conducted friendly exchanges and reached preliminary cooperation intentions on international vocational education and training, multilateral trade, comprehensive transportation and logistics services, and school enterprise industry education integration in the logistics field in China, Laos and Cambodia. In the future, more cooperation and practice will be carried out around logistics vocational education and international economic and trade activities.
In 2021, the China Laos Railway will be officially put into operation, opening up a new logistics channel between China and Southeast Asian countries, injecting new impetus into the economic recovery of Laos and Cambodia, and putting forward higher requirements for multilateral integration of industry and education and talent cultivation. This meeting is an innovative exploration to explore international cooperation in the logistics field between China, Laos and Cambodia, laying a good foundation for China Laos Cambodia logistics enterprises to carry out international cooperation and cultivate logistics professionals with international vision.
