On the afternoon of October 14, the college held a mobilization and arrangement meeting for the quality certification of higher education for studying in China. Zhang Yi, the dean of the college, and Zhou Chuanlin, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee attended the meeting, and the heads of relevant departments and secondary colleges attended the meeting. President Zhang Yi presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
At the mobilization meeting, President Zhang emphasized the necessity and importance of the college's higher education quality certification for international students in China. He pointed out that improving the quality and efficiency of foreign students' higher education in China is the requirement of the connotative development of higher education and an important part of the college's international education. It is an important work during the Fourteenth Five Year Plan period of the college to do a good job in the quality certification of overseas students' education in China, which is of great significance to comprehensively demonstrate the quality of the college's overseas talents training in China and accelerate the implementation of the school's internationalization strategy. President Zhang put forward three requirements for the participants. First, we should unify our thinking, improve our standing, and fully understand the importance of doing a good job in the quality certification of education for foreign students in China; Second, we should study standards, focus on breakthroughs, and implement specific indicators in talent training; Third, we should make overall arrangements and cooperate with each other. All secondary colleges and units should promote construction and reform through evaluation to jointly promote the quality certification of overseas students in China.
The five secondary colleges and 12 functional departments participating in the meeting jointly studied the quality certification standards of higher education for international students in China, interpreted the quality certification indicator system, and made full preparations for the full launch of the certification work.
