On December 23, the unveiling ceremony of Jingshi Academy (New Energy Vehicle Testing and Maintenance Technology) of Nanjing Institute of Traffic Technology -Ranna Rajabhat University of Technology, one of the “People-to-People Exchange Program” initiated by the Center for International People-to-People Exchange of the Ministry of Education，was grandly held, with the online presence of Du Kewei, director of the Center for International People-to-People Exchange (CIPE) of the Ministry of Education, Zhang Yi, president of Nanjing Institute of Traffic Technology (NJITT), Zatuli Thomplon, president of Ranna Rajabhat University of Technology (RRUT), Zhang Yu, president of Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Huasheng), Zhou Chuanlin, deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of NJITT.
At the unveiling ceremony, Zathuri Thumplun, president of RRUT in Thailand, delivered a speech. He said that Jingshi Academy (new energy vehicle testing and maintenance technology) is a milestone project for the academic exchanges and cooperation between RRUT and Chinese universities. Both sides will contribute to build Jingshi Academy into a model for the training of new energy vehicle talent in Thailand.
President Zhang Yi introduced the characteristics of NJITT and its advantages in the cultivation of technical talent. He said that the launching of the “JingShi Academy” program is an important exploration for NJITT to carry out the “school-school-enterprise” cooperation model and to go out to run schools. NJITT will work together with Huasheng and RRUT to build Thailand’s “Jingshi Academy” program into an international brand, providing a platform for cooperation in talent training, mutual recognition of credits, academic exchanges, and mutual degree awarding between China and Thailand and localized human resource services for Chinese enterprises.
Zhang Yu, president of Huasheng, said in his speech on behalf of the company that the launching of the Jingshi Academy (new energy vehicle testing and maintenance technology) program is a new starting point. In the future cooperation, the three parties will continue to consolidate high-quality development achievements and strengthen standard research and promotion, jointly carry out international industrial services, build a new model of international integration of production and education, and create a new ecological pattern.
Du Kewei, director of CIPE, delivered a video speech at the unveiling ceremony and announced the opening of Jingshi Academy. He pointed out that substantial progress has been made in the construction of “Jingshi Academy” between NJITT and RRUT, which is a testament to the continuing of educational exchanges and cooperation and the joint overcoming of difficulties between China and Thailand under the epidemic of Covid-19. It is an innovative achievement and of great significance to serve the “Belt and Road Initiative”.
The People-to-People Exchange Program is an education internationalization program jointly released and implemented by CIPE and Huasheng in August 2019. Jingshi International Academy, establishes Jingshi Academies in overseas universities, carries out activities of integration of production and education and internationalization of education, cultivates international talents for the “Belt and Road Initiative”, and promotes people-to-people and cultural exchanges. NJITT is one of the first batch of institutions of this program. NJITT will take the construction of Jingshi Academy as an opportunity to carry out international talent training and technical training and create new professional standard resources for new energy vehicles, contributing Chinese models and Chinese wisdom to the development of countries covered by the “Belt and Road Initiative”.
