Article 1 In order to strengthen the management of the dormitories and create a safe and tidy living and learning environment, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Accepting Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities, Management Measures of Student Apartments of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology and other relevant documents, combined with the actual conditions of the school.
Article 2 The students studying in our school shall be uniformly accommodated in the dormitories of international students and obey the management of the school.
Article 3 When enrolling in each academic year, a retainer shall pay a lump sum for the accommodation fee for the whole academic year.
Article 4 The dormitories for students shall be jointly managed by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the Student Dormitory Management Center of the Student Affairs Office. The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange is responsible for providing a roster of students staying in and arranging accommodation according to their nationality, beliefs, living habits and other specific conditions.
Article 5 After check-in, students staying in designated rooms and beds are strictly prohibited from changing rooms, subletting beds without permission. If a replacement is required, an application should be made to the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, which will decide whether to replace it according to the actual situation.
Article 6 If a student needs to leave the school for a short time for any reason, he shall promptly file a record with the dormitory administrator after completing the relevant procedures and return to the school on time.
Article 7 Students shall strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules and regulations of the School, and shall strictly prohibit gambling, alcoholism, drug abuse, theft, fighting and other acts that violate Chinese laws and school discipline; it is strictly forbidden to carry controlled knives, inflammable and explosive, highly toxic and other items that threaten the safety of persons and property or obscene materials into the apartment.
Article 8 International students have freedom of religious belief, but must not post or hang pictures, texts, ornaments, or activity posters related to religion in public areas such as dormitories, and must not preach, distribute religious propaganda materials, or carry out other religious activities in dormitories.
Article 9 Keep the inside and outside of the dormitory clean and maintain the smooth flow of the corridors. Students should take good care of all the facilities in the dormitory, prohibit the random dismantling, exchange and destruction of public facilities; do not post, hang, paint various items and marks in the rooms and corridors; such as the configuration of items in the room and the public facilities in the building caused by man-made damage, must be compensated according to the price.
Article 10 The use of open flames in the room is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms and dormitory buildings. Students should comply with the fire prevention system and strictly prevent fire. In addition to compensating for all losses, those who cause a fire shall be punished according to the seriousness of the circumstances, and those who constitute a crime shall be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with law.
Article 11 Students should pay attention to the safety of electricity use. Use electrical appliances cautiously, put an end to random wire pulling, and strictly prohibit the use of illegal electrical appliances.
Article 12 Attention shall be paid to saving water and electricity. Check and close the water and electricity facilities before leave the room or going to bed, and put an end to waste such as the faucet or light is not turned off.
Article 13 Students shall maintain the normal living order of the dormitory, and shall not carry out activities in the dormitory that hinder or affect the study or rest of others; it is strictly forbidden to dance, make loud noises or hold parties in the dormitory. If it is necessary to hold dances or assemblies for the celebration of traditional national festivals, etc., they must be held at a designated place with the consent of the school.
Article 14 Cohabitation between male and female students is strictly prohibited. The opposite sex visiting the dormitory can only move in the common areas such as the living room, and is not allowed to enter the bedroom room. Violators will be withdrawn from school.
Article 15 Pets such as cats and dogs shall not be kept in the dormitory.
Article 16 Strictly abide by the school work and rest system. Students should take the initiative to obey and cooperate with the dormitory management in the work of rounding and counting the number of people. The residence opens at 6:00 and closes at 23:00. After 23:00, students are not allowed to go out without special circumstances. In case of special circumstances, if students need to enter or leave the apartment after 23:00, they must register with the dormitory administrator. When a student does not return at night, other members of the dormitory should report to the dormitory administrators in time.
Article 17 Students shall conscientiously cooperate with and actively participate in the sanitary inspection and safety inspection activities organized by the school, and actively participate in the civilized dormitory appraisal activities to be held by the school.
Article 18 Students should pay attention to personal and property safety, and properly keep important documents such as passports and residence permits and money and goods. Do not carry large amounts of cash in room or when go out to prevent illegal infringement.
Article 19 If a student has a visitor, the visitor shall present and mortgage a valid identity document and go through the registration procedures for the guest. The student should urge the visitor to leave the dormitory before 21:00, and if the visitor is stranded and the student does not inform the dormitory administrator of the situation in time, the student will be dealt with severely.
Article 20 It is strictly forbidden to stay with others overnight in the dormitory, and those who violate the rules will be warned and admonished according to the circumstances, and those with serious circumstances will be withdrawn from school.
Article 21 Students who leave the school due to graduation, withdrawal, suspension or other reasons, as well as those who voluntarily apply for retirement, shall go through the withdrawal formalities with the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and move out of the dormitory within the prescribed time limit.
Article 22 Where a student leaves the school without authorization for more than two weeks, the school has the right to clean up his room and beds. Their personal belongings are kept by the school for two weeks, and the school has the right to dispose of them if they are not collected after the deadline.
Article 23 The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange is responsible for the interpretation of these Measures. The other matters shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the state and the relevant provisions of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology.
Article 24 These Measures take effect on the date of promulgation.
